La alternativa que suplió a Real Player, se llama Real Alternative 1.9 y es más que una alternativa a Real Player.
Además de reproducir el formato .rm, reproduce muchísimos más y tan conocidos.
Puedes reproducir: RealAudio (RA, RPM), RealVideo (RM, RAM, RMVB), RealText (RT) y RealPix (RP) y (DVD, MP3, MID, MPEG, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, entre otros.
Es apto incluso para Windows Vista.
